American Dance Academy was founded in 2001 by Michelle Peterson.  ADA is conveniently located off Bangerter Highway and 12600 South in Riverton, UT.

We believe in providing quality dance instruction in a professional atmosphere as well as creating an environment to promote discipline, self-confidence, teamwork, and achievement. Our staff is highly experienced in the art of dance and in the education and care of children. We offer classes in Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Creative, Tumbling, and Zumba serving ages 3-adult.

NEWS, UPCOMING EVENTS, & IMPORTANT DATES

*The schedule for 2012-2013 isn't updated on our site yet.  It is coming soon.  If    you are interested in registering for classes, please contact Michelle for a brochure of our schedule for the dance season beginning in August. Brochures are also available at the studio. We are looking forward to the new season! 

We will also be having a summer intensive program. It will run July 16-19.  The last day of intensive will include auditions for next year's teams and companies.  All students  and prospective students 10 years and above are encouraged to attend this week of classes.  

COMPETITIONS            

May 11-12 - Herriman High School. Company 1, Company 2 

Both companies arrive at Herriman by noon. Dance times are also follows:

RECITAL INFORMATION 

Spring Recital will be on June 16, 2012 at Herriman High at 2:00.  Mark your calendars now!  Just as a reminder, we finish out classes the month of June working on technique, placements, and parade choreography.  There will be no pro-rating tuition in June.

CLASS PICTURES

We will be having class pictures taken on May 18 and 19.                                     

*Friday, the 18th will be for Creatives, Mini, Junior, Senior, boys hip hip, and hip hop 1.  It will be in the afternoon between 2:30 and 5.  Class times will be posted as the day gets closer.  Plan on about 20 minutes for the class picture and individual pictures.  You will be able to order the pictures at the door using cash, check, or credit card.  Come in costumes.

* Saturday, the 19th will be picture day for Company 1 and Company 2. Meet at the studio at 9:00 AM.  We are working with the photographer on setting up something a little different for the older girls.  We will give details in their classes.  You will also be able to order on the day of with cash, check or credit card.  More info coming soon.
