Faculty

Michelle took competitive jazz for 11 years, winning several awards.  She was the drill team mistress during her senior year at West Jordan High School.  She was a member of the University of Utah Crimson Line for one year.  Michelle taught at dance camps for 6 years with Universal Dance Association., and performed with the All Star team in France, England, and New York.  She has also been a judge at dance competitions for the past 7 years. Michelle has been the director of Dance America competitions since 2000.  She has been the director of numerous award-winning teams. Michelle has taught competitive dance for 13 years and has owned ADA for 8.

Michelle Peterson

 Director, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop

Allison has been dancing since the age of 2.  She has trained extensively in ballet, pointe, jazz, hip hop, and modern.  Allison danced professionally with Best Dreams Entertainment FERCOS BROS. Untamed Illusions in 2006. She graduated from UVSC with a degree in dance where she studied under the direction of some of Utah’s most prestigious dance masters including Jacqueline Colledge, artistic director of Utah Regional Ballet, Heather Gray, Kathie Debenham, Kimberly Strunk, and Melissa Graehl.  She was a member of the UVSC dance company Synergy and has performed all over the country.  She was also a member of the Bingham High School Dance Company, where she served as Vice President and Choreographer.  She trained under Trisha Wilstead where she participated in full- length ballets including Wizard of Oz, Cinderella, the Princess and the Toymaker and the Little Matchgirl. Allison has been teaching classical and contempory ballet and pointe for 8 years.

Allison McFarland

Lyndsee has been dancing since the age of 2.  She has trained in ballet, jazz, hip hop, and modern.  She was a member of the Bingham High School Dance Company for three years, and served as President and Choreographer.  She trained extensively in ballet and pointe under Trisha Wilstead where she participated in full-length ballets including Cinderella, The Enchanted Toy Shop, the Wizard of Oz, and the Little Matchgirl.  Lyndsee is currently studying ballet and dance conditioning at UVSC.  She has been teaching ballet, creative, and technique for 3 years.
